Kamenoi Hotel Tazawako, Semboku

The buffet during my stay was impressive, offering a wide variety of local specialties that kept me wanting more. I especially loved trying the Kiritanpo Nabe; it was good! The abundance of choices made each meal exciting, and I appreciated the late-night tantan men that was served as a complimentary treat. Overall, dining here was a highlight of my stay!

The onsen facilities here are simply amazing! I enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor baths, which were spacious and clean. The outdoor onsen, in particular, provided a magical experience, surrounded by nature. I couldn't believe how refreshing and relaxing it was, especially after a day of skiing. The atmosphere was serene, making it a perfect retreat.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of my Japanese-style room. It had all the amenities I needed, including a TV, fridge, and tatami mats. The futon was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, even though there was some noise from the corridor. The experience of sleeping in traditional Japanese bedding added to the unique charm of my stay.

The bedroom was a nice retreat with traditional decor and a tranquil atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the soothing sounds of the nearby stream, which added to the calming ambiance. While there were a few minor design quirks, like the sliding door leaving a small gap, it didn't take away from the overall comfortable experience of my room.
